2009 Class Schedule
We are already working on our class schedule for the new year, which we plan to issue the later part of December.
We offer many classes to suit many different skill levels.

1st hat +
Are you tired of knitting scarves? This class is for you. While making a basic hat, you will learn to knit in the round and how to use double point needles.

1st socks ++
Here you will spend four classes learning the anatomy of a sock and complete your first pair.

double knitting +++
Here you will learn an interesting color work technique known as “double knitting” and begin your own reversible hat.

This fun technique can be used in hats, scarves, afghans and even socks. Come and learn and you will WOW everyone with your knitting.

beaded scarf +++
You will choose between a pima cotton or a wool blend in addition to a complimentary bead color and we will get you started so that you can create your own masterpiece.

magic loop socks ++
Toss the double point needles aside and learn to knit socks on one long circular!

flip top mittens ++
These flip top mittens will keep your hands warm, but will also let you use your uncovered fingers when you really need them.

felted clogs ++
These clogs are knitted and then felted where you can size and shape them to fit your feet perfectly. They feel so great you are going to want many pairs in different colors.

mosaic knitting ++
This color work technique, also known as slip stitch knitting, will make a truly unique washcloth or dishcloth. When combined with organic cotton it makes a great gift.

crochet 101 +
For all who want to learn to crochet, this class is for you. Here you will learn several basic stitches and begin the Babette Blanket. This pattern can be purchased at www.knittingdaily.com for $6.00. If you have trouble purchasing the pattern, please let us know and we will see that you have one.

needle felting +
When you register for this class, we will provide a pattern for a bowl that you will knit and felt beforehand. You will then bring the felted bowl to class where we will guide you through selecting the tools, rovings, and design patterns that will help you create a piece of art.

If you have difficulty committing to class schedules and times or prefer a smaller setting we offer private lessons. This hour will be spent covering your requests.
