knit

beginning knitting
You will learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off all while making your first pair of mittens.  Once the class is over, you will officially be a knitter!
skills necessary:  none
3 sessions

basic socks 
Here you will spend four classes learning the anatomy of a sock and complete your first pair.
Warning:  Sock Knitting is Addictive!

easy fair isle hat 
Fair Isle, a form of stranded colored knitting, can produce some truly amazing color patterns. You will become familiar with securing floats, two-handed knitting and more all while producing your own truly amazing hat.

entrelac 
This fun technique is used to create hats, scarves, afghans and even socks.  Come learn and you will WOW everyone with your knitting.

magic loop socks  ++
Toss the double point needles aside and learn to knit socks on one long circular. This technique can be used for lots of things beyond socks – sleeves, gloves and more!

Are you tired of scarves? This class is for you. You will learn decreasing, knitting in the round, using double pointed needles and basic pattern reading. After this class you will be ready for most anything.

pick your first sweater 
Chose your favorite from a number of top down patterns that we have selected and get started on your first sweater.

Are you ready to pick up a crochet hook?  While learning three basic stitches you will start a scarf.   This class will turn you into a crocheter.

This one time class will teach you how to use the ease of crocheting to get the look of entrelac.

private lesson
If you have difficulty committing to class schedules and times, or prefer a smaller setting, we offer private lessons.  This hour will be spent covering your requests.
Fee:  $25 per hour
