While there is a quiet moment in the store, I wanted to give you a few updates.  First, our get rid of your "junk in the trunk" sale has been postponed.  The last couple of weeks have been unusally busy with family birthdays, a trip out of town, a small flood in my house - yes, you read that correctly - and the store!  We are rescheduling for Sunday, November 16th.  This gives you a little longer to go through your stash, and from what I hear, some of you need a really long time!   
We just received a new shipment of Shepherd Worsted from Lorna's Laces.  It included some of their new colors as well as many old favorites.  Come by and pick out your favorite!

Many have seen this vest in the store, but for those who have not...look at this!  This vest is unique because it is knit in a circle with two openings for the arms.  Our model is without arms, so you are going to have to use your imagination!  Our generous and special friend, Pat, made this for us to share with everyone.  You can find the pattern in the book Silk Knits, which we have, and the yarn is none other than Noro's Silk Garden.  A vest and Silk Garden are perfect for wearing over a tee this time of the year!

Because we need shelving space for all of the new Fall stock, we are moving other items out to our 50% Off Sale Room every day!  You can add to your stash guilt free!

We have added two additional 1st hat classes to our schedule, so be sure and check out the dates if you were interested in learning to make hats.  We are still working on details for the destashing sale to be held on November 2nd.   I hope you are going through your stash to determine what you may be able to part with.  Remember one man's junk is another man's treasure!

Have you heard about Lorna's Laces Color Commentary series?  If not, some very popular bloggers are creating new colorways named in their honor.   The first in the series was Franklin's Panopticon (we still have a small amount left), and most recently we received Amy's Vintage Office by Amy Singer of knitty.com.  You can read all about her inspiration on Lorna's blog!  We all get excited when a box arrives from Lorna's, but especially so when we open it and find a limited edition, one of a kind color!
