We will close at 2 pm on Thursday, New Year's Eve, and will be closed on Friday, New Year's Day.  The store will reopen on Saturday, December 2nd, for our normal hours of 10-5pm. 
I was reminded this week that Double Stamp Friday falls on a day that we plan to close.  For January only, Double Stamp Friday will be held on the first Saturday of the month.  We will resume our Friday schedule beginning in February.

Do you have all of your Christmas knitting finished?  If not, no worries, because we have got you covered!  Have you seen all of the cowls - they are the accessory at the moment.  The Quickie Cowl and the Fear of Committment on Ravelry are perfect examples of beautiful and quick.  We have lots of chunky solids and hand painted colorways that will work up beautifully.  Most everyone knows how much I love scarves and most everyone knows that I think you can never have too many.  We have so many different yarns and patterns and ideas about scarves, we can certainly help you pick the perfect project.
For the knitter's on your list...have you seen the new Stitch Dots?  They are stitch markers marked with "dec", "inc", "rs" etc. that come in a small coin purse.  Super cute!  Also in, Francie O's Needle Cases.  These cases are covered in a colorful polymer clay design and can be attached to any part of your bag, or even a keyring.  We have more goodies to choose from, but if you just cannot decide remember that we also offer gift certificates. 

We have some great new roving from Daily Fibers.  They come in 4 oz. "skeins" and retail for $25.  I was able to purchase two of several colors, so some lucky spinner can get 8 oz. of this beautiful hand dyed roving. 
On the subject of spinning, we do have two Schacht Ladybug Spinning Wheels in stock.  From now until the end of the year if you purchase a Schacht spinning wheel, we are throwing in a one hour beginner's spinning lesson.  A spinning wheel, beautiful roving and a lesson - what more could you want for Christmas.
On the subject of Schacht products, we also have several Schacht Cricket Looms Kits in stock.  This kit retails for $135 and includes everything - yarn too - that you need to get started.  We have many woven scarves using many different fibers in the store for you to see.
