We received some new shawl sticks from JUL Silver this week.  Her newest (pictured in the middle) is a lightweight silver tipped shawl stick that will be perfect for lacy and delicate shawls.  We were also able to replenish the turquoise and white tipped shawl sticks.  The beauty and craftsmanship of JUL Silver products are beyond comparison.  A perfect new accessory for Spring! 
Earlier this week, we received two huge boxes from Berroco.  They were full of Comfort, Comfort Chunky and Plush.  Comfort is a worsted weight microfiber and acrylic blend.  It is machine washable and dryable and practically indestructible.  Comfort Chunky is its chunky weight sibling.  For all unfamiliar with Plush, there is nothing quite like it. It is an acrylic with a texture that is ...Oh So Soft.  When given the chance, any child that is able to choose yarn for themselves will inevitably find Plush.  Berroco offers lots of patterns including this super cute Teddy Bear.  If you need to knit for any kids, we have you covered!

Louet and Ravelry have teamed up and created something special for all of us who love Ravelry.  The Creative Juice Yarn Collection is Louet Gems Worsted in colors inspired by Ravelry.  There are a total of seven different colors with names like Bob'in for Green Apples, Espresso Yourself and Ravelberry.  There are also a three Ravelry inspired patterns.  The Bottlecap Hat, Accordian Mittens and Varsity Scarf offer many different color schemes to choose from, so you have several choices for each pattern.  The scarf also includes a chart to add Bob - the ravelry mascot - to the scarf.  Lastly, we have Unleash - the newest Soak fragrance.  It is so crisp and clean and has become my new favorite.  Come by and get inspired by everything Ravelry!

The rules are:
1)  you must choose a knitting project that is a challenge for you AND register with Bliss Yarns by Thursday, February 11th
2)  you can cast on for your project once the flame is lit during the opening ceremonies
3)  you must be finished with your project before the flame is extinguished during the closing ceremonies
4)  you can bring your finished project in or email us a photo by 8am Monday, March 1st

If you complete the above you will be entered into a drawing to win either a $100 gold gift certificate, a $50 silver gift certificate, or a $25 bronze gift certificate.

This Thursday evening during our regular sit 'n stitch we will get the challenge started with some snacks and swatching!  If you have not picked out your project, come and let us help you find the perfect one.
