As the crazy month of May winds down and we settle into the summer routine, you may be looking for something to do...take a knit class!  We have added several new classes to our May schedule.  Take a look and give us a call to reserve your spot. 

 
We have a new sock yarn - Mountain Colors Crazyfoot - and the colors are gorgeous!  We stock and love their Bearfoot sock yarn, but all of the colors are a bit dark and rustic.  Not so with Crazyfoot!  Light and bright colors sum up our stock.  One skein at 459 yards is all you need to make most anyone a pair of socks and the 90% superwash merino and 10% nylon will make them super soft and long lasting! 

Let me introduce you to Mia - one of Tahki's newest yarns.  A lightweight, thick/thin, 100% cotton with lots of texture.  With a suggested gauge of 3 stitches to an inch, you can start and be finished before you know it.  This sweater is perfect for those summer evenings indoors, and looks so much better than the "coat" that I take to keep warm at the movies. 
You may also want to check out Tahki's Maya (Mia's big sis).  It is also, a thick/thin cotton, but with a gauge of 2 stitches to the inch.  Mia - Maya, what to do???  We have both in stock - Mia in all colorways available - so come see which one you like best.

The summer issue of Interweave Knits arrived yesterday.  I have only thumbed through, but I like what I have seen so far!
